About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Grants Officer to join our team.
In your role as Grants Officer you will completely manage the end to end process of our grants programme, the Thriving Communities Fund. You will be responsible for assessing applications and providing information and advice to support the Grants Panel. You should be organised and experienced in being able to identifying opportunities to promote the work of the fund.
As part of the administration element you will provide high quality administrative, secretarial, clerical services and IT support to the Head of People Engagement and the People Engagement leadership team, undertaking specific project tasks as required.
The roles are split equally in this full time position.
On the Job you will:
Assess and monitor applications
Provide advice and support to applicants
Identify PR opportunities to promote the fund
Provide administrative support to the People Engagement Team which comprises of Human Resources, Communications and Employee Development.

You will ideally have skills and attributes that include:
Knowledge of the values and principles of community services
Experience of managing a grants programme
Analytical skills, able to interpret data
A high level of organisational skills
