The Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust is a Buckinghamshire based housing association providing homes and services for over 23,000 people. We pride ourselves on working closely with residents and in the surrounding communities, making a significant social and economic contribution to the areas we serve. We are looking for Communications Business Partner to help us achieve our vision and goals.
About the role:
As a Community Engagement Officer you will support the delivery of community and resident engagement activities, promoting opportunities and ensuring residents’ voices are heard. Together with the Community Engagement Business Partner, you will be instrumental in developing and delivering resident engagement as outlined in the Government’s Social Housing White Paper.
You will support the development of strong self-sustaining communities, working directly with residents and partners to enhance our residents’ community and quality of life.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience of working in a front facing community role
Knowledge and understanding of community and resident engagement
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and planning skills
Team player
