Roughly 2,500 people each year sustain or acquire a spinal cord injury, and we’re currently undergoing a period of rapid development to create a network of support available to every spinal cord injured person in the UK. We’re set to become a true association of people and partners, working together to give spinal cord injured people the support they need and deserve.
Job Title: Campaigns Coordinator
Reporting to: Campaigns Manager
Contract Term: Full time, permanent
Location: London and Milton Keynes (flexibility required due to the nature of the role)
Salary: £31,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours
Role Requirements
The vision of SIA’s Campaigns Team is to be a campaigning voice that acts as an agent for change for spinal cord injured (SCI) people and for organisational growth. To help deliver this vision, the Campaigns Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the research, development and implementation of SIA’s range of national and local campaigns.
The Campaigns Coordinator will make full use of all of SIA’s resources, membership and supporters to build a strong evidence base and coordinate activities that will:
• Actively support the effective and successful delivery of campaigns which energise the SCI community, politicians, funders and the public.
• Help develop an active campaigning network of SIA staff, SCI people, charities, health and corporate partners.
• Develop and deliver innovative campaigning strategy and tactics that bring about successful campaign outcomes and create and attract fundraising opportunities.
The Campaigns Coordinator role is central to the success of SIA’s campaigning activities, and delivering lasting change that supports people with a sci and enables them to lead a fulfilled life.
