About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join to join our Allocations & Lettings Team. This role will require you to provide high quality clerical services, IT, administrative and secretarial support to the Allocations & Lettings Service Manager and the Allocations & Lettings team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills at all levels, written and verbal, along with excellent planning, organisational and coordinating skills. You will be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines.
Existing experience and knowledge of the social housing sector would be highly advantageous.
On the Job you will:
Continually monitor the Bucks Home Choice housing applications and change of circumstances requests
Manage shortlisting , and offer properties to suitable applicants
Manage and create property adverts for Bucks Home Choice
Process Mutual Exchange requests
Manage and approve Homeswapper Accounts
Produce statistical information and prepare reports with regards to the KPI’s
Raise and manage purchase orders for the team
Collate and submit data in line with Government recording of letting within social housing
Carry out any additional administration related to the role.
About You
We’re looking for someone who understands how to connect with people and who has strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively organise a busy and varied workload. You should be confident in dealing with emotionally distressing situations with good negotiation skills. Good IT skills are essential and the ability to process and understand statistical reports.
