Kitchen Assistant – Aylesbury, Bucks 

Location: Hampden Hall Care Centre, Tamarisk Way, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP22 5ZB

Job Type: Permanent 

Salary: £9.20 per hour 

Hours: 8am to 4pm or 11am to 7pm (working 5 days over 7 including alternate weekends)

Hampden Hall Care Centre is a 120-bed care home with a lively atmosphere and a friendly team. We support elderly residents with a variety of care and nursing needs each and every day and we need people like you to join our friendly team.

THE ROLE: 

Assist chef with food preparation
Independently prepare hot meals/sandwiches for residents
Load and unload dishwasher
Wash up equipment unsuitable for dishwasher
Clean kitchen and equipment
Collect and distribute crockery from residents areas
Clear tea trolleys where applicable
Empty kitchen rubbish and keep areas clear of refuse
Maintain a clean and hygienic environment
ABOUT YOU:

Right to live and work in the UK
Health and Safety
Understanding of COSHH
Knowledge of Infection Control
Some experience of working in a team
