WORKING HOURS: 46 weeks per annum, Full time 40 – 45 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Broughton Manor Preparatory School is an IAPS co-educational day school and nursery situated on the East side of Milton Keynes. The school is located in a purpose built building with all the modern facilities you would expect. We offer private education and nursery care for children from 2 months to 11 years of age.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and experienced Chef who will be responsible for running the school’s Kitchen Department. 
The successful applicant will have previous experience of managing a busy kitchen, rostering and mentoring staff and monitoring supplies, whilst ensuring best food safety practices.  You will be able to work under pressure and at speed, and have knowledge of how to use a wide variety of kitchen equipment.  You will have a strong work ethic, be a team player and be presentable and reliable.

A minimum of 1 years’ experience working within a busy kitchen is essential.   Relevant experience and a qualification in catering and food safety would be advantageous.
