Role Responsibility
We currently have an opportunity for a Chef to join the team.
This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.
The position on offer will involve working on an MOD Base. Serving and assisting the other chef in producing breakfast, lunch, and supper for the staff.
You will also need to work alone when the lead chef is absent.
Working mainly straight shifts 5 over 7 shift patterns 0700 – 2100 hours
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will be:
* Experienced in working in a busy kitchen environment
* Passionate for producing fresh food to a high standard
* Customer focused
* A strong communicator
* Experienced at working with a team
* Complying to health, safety, and hygiene standards
* Strong level of literacy and numeracy
* DV Clearance (SV Clearance acceptable will be progressed to DV Clearance)
* Previous catering experience and a Great Passion for Food and Team Engagement
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and staff at all levels
* Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate
* Good time management and organizational skills
