MSX International are currently recruiting for an experienced Warranty Manager to join our client's team in South Buckinghamshire. The successful candidate will be required to travel nationally and occasionally internationally.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as an Aftersales Supply Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the warranty policy & procedures strategy across the UK network & internal functions, in additional support the wide teams with Homologation. On a day-to-day basis, your role will involve:
Manned telephone support for Warranty claims and Warranty System handling.
Monitored email / System support e.g. warranty claim process.
In conjunction with our team translate and or localise the Global Warranty Policy & Procedures manual
Liaising with local government agencies to launch & manage Recall Actions.
Manage and maintain Campaign & Recall completion rates.
Translation (if necessary), preparation and effective implementation of Service Recalls & Campaigns information.
Remote assistance via desktop and or a virtual private network where available.
Planned or emergency onsite assistance.
Support continuous improvement activities regarding product quality at port and agencies, working with technical support as required.
Support new vehicle model Launch activities as required.
Coach and mentor agencies in aftersales processes
Be 1st point of contact for Homologation & Thatcham approvals for aftersales, linking with internal functions as required.
Develop, accurately maintain KPI reports and submit on a timely basis raising issues, potential or real, as identified, (Warranty/Quality).

Excellent excel skills and be highly proficient in word and power point.
Experience of working effectively in an international matrix organisation structure.
Significant experience working within an OEM Warranty department, offering support to agencies via different media i.e. online, telephone and face to face.
Have a good automotive technical understanding.
Can demonstrate a logical approach and be able to investigate, report on and diagnose complex vehicle systems.
Will have a good working knowledge of aftersales systems and processes to be able to coach and mentor agency staff.
Able to work with government bodies for vehicle legislation requirements such as recalls or Type Approvals.Please note, to be considered for this role, you must possess a clean driving licence and be able to support at multiple locations within the UK requiring some overnight travel.
