VRS Parts Technical & Dealer Support Advisor
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Salary – Up to £33,000 + Company Success Scheme + Excellent Benefits Package
Hours – Monday to Friday 08:45 to 17:00
Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles Scania GB has an exciting opportunity for a VRS Parts Technical Advisor to join the team reporting to our MILTON KEYNES SUPPORT CENTRE on a 12month fixed term contract.
If you have a strong commercial vehicle parts background and possess a broad knowledge of all makes truck and trailer parts, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you to join our team. Candidates must be comfortable working with cross reference look up systems and in handling Dealer enquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Dealer support. Work closely with the Scania UK Dealer network (including SGB Network Parts Business Managers, Dealer Regional BDMs and SSEs) to provide support. Focus areas include product identification and assisting with special order requests.
Product range updates – Assisting the VRS Parts Product Managers in updating the parts file and cross reference system.
Cataloguing. Assist with the creation and update of VRS catalogues (hard copy and digital)
Supplier Liaison. Work closely with VRS Supplier Management team to ensure product portfolio is up-to-date and latest technical data is available.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Broad parts application knowledge covering All Makes Truck and Trailer
Knowledge and use of commercial vehicle cross reference systems
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work under pressure
Self – motivated
Working as part of a team with excellent interpersonal skills
Customer Focused
Knowledge and use of modern Microsoft software packages
