We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade Vehicle Technician in near Uxbridge.

About the Company
Our client is a well-established busy garage with many years of experience and expertise. They are a member of the Bosch Car Service network of independent garages which means they work to the Trading Standards Institute approved code, ensuring customers receive the highest quality of service.  Their customers include fleet users, major vehicle leasing companies, local businesses and individual motorists.

About the role
The Vehicle Technician role will include all levels of technical works, from servicing to major engine work to diagnostics. As a Vehicle Technician you will be part of a friendly and supportive team to:

Accurately and skilfully undertake the diagnosis, repair and servicing of motor vehicles
Complete work to a high standard, adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes
Be confident and professional in your approach whilst being efficient and always aiming for a first-time fix
About the responsibilities
In the role of Vehicle Technician, you will:

Interact directly with customers to explain vehicle problems and the corrective action taken, when required
Keep the working bay, ramp and company equipment clean and tidy, being conscious of Health and Safety in the workshop
Comply with warranty and quality system procedures
About the key competencies
As Vehicle Technician, you will need to demonstrate that you can:

Listen effectively and communicate clearly
Maintain a positive attitude towards colleagues, the customer and the job
About you
To be successful for the role of Vehicle Technician you must have / be:

Recent experience within a busy workshop
Fully qualified (NVQ level 3 in Vehicle maintenance & repair)
A minimum of 2 years as a qualified Technician
A strong technical knowledge and bring a strong work ethic
Full UK driving licence
MOT licence an advantage, not essential
About the hours & rewards
In the role of Vehicle Technician, you will work Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 6.00pm depending on need and Saturday on a rota with other Technicians (paid on top of your salary). There is on offer:

A salary of up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience
Ongoing training through Bosch at their Training Centre
