The Role

To continue providing the best level of service to our customers we are looking to further add to our existing team and have an opportunity for a Vehicle Service Attendant to join our rental location based in Milton Keynes.
The role of Vehicle Service Attendant is to ensure that trucks are collected and delivered to our customers on time, so this is a 50% driving and 50% adhoc duties role. Additionally, you will prepare the rental vehicles for the clients by cleaning and valeting them and you will make sure that vehicle related documentation is prepared.

This would be an ideal role for someone looking to gain their Class 1/ Class 2 HGV driver licence – we would provide full training inhouse to get your licence!.

This is a 45 hour week role working a shift rota of Monday – Friday 06:00 – 16:00 / 07:00 – 17:00 / 08:00 – 18:00
Other duties will include:

* Adhere to all Company Health and Safety and Security Policies at all times

* Refueling of vehicles and the checking of Ad blue levels

* Preparing vehicle-related documentation and logging details onto a tablet

* Carry out Vehicle Service 'Ten Point Check

* Carry out pre-MOT test

* Develop and maintain high levels of customer service by being courteous and providing a first class service to customers and drivers when visiting site

About You

* Previous experience involving vehicle technology is desirable

* Proactive and can do attitude

* Happy to do driving and other jobs during the day

* General IT skills

* High attention to detail
