Meenz Recruitment is looking for a Vehicle Prepper to join our client’s busy auto bodyshop in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

The job in a nutshell

* 4 days on / 4 days off working system

* Two shifts available:

* Night Shift (6pm – 6am)

* Day Shift (6am – 6pm)

* £17.00 per hour (Night Shift)

* £16.00 per hour (Day Shift)

* Overtime available

* Immediate Start

Requirements for a Vehicle Prepper:

The candidate must have experience in this line of work and must be able to be put on a car and get it to the painting stage, a painting would be an advantage but not essential.

As a day-to-day activity, you will prepare cars that require vehicle cosmetic refurbishment. Our client needs you to prepare the bodywork on their cars ready to, so they are worthy of being sold in their stores.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in Bodyshop repairs.

Preparation of bodywork for paint

*

Use of sanding tools

*

Filler work

*

Bumper Repairs

*

Buffing

*

Masking

*

Priming

*

Including other Bodyshop Roles

You will need to own a stocked toolbox and basic servicing items and be able to use these for work.
