Meenz Recruitment is looking for a Vehicle Mechanic to join our client’s busy auto bodyshop in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.

The job in a nutshell

* 4 days on / 4 days off working system

* Two shifts available:

* Night Shift (6pm – 6am)

* Day Shift (6am – 6pm)

* £17.00 per hour (Night Shift)

* £16.00 per hour (Day Shift)

* Overtime available

* Immediate Start

As an experienced Vehicle Technician, you already know what you are doing but essentially, you will be preparing the cars for customer, turning someone's dream into a reality. You will not be working on a single make or model.

You will be undertaking vehicle servicing, fault diagnosis, and repairs to an extremely high standard, working swiftly and efficiently to create a safe and productive environment.

What you will be doing

Change alternators

*

Conduct servicing and repairs to many different marques of vehicle, performing diagnostic testing to identify faults

*

Maintaining a safe and productive work environment

*

Understanding of different warranty schemes and how these affect customers

*

Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately and on time

*

Ensuring Pre Delivery Inspections are completed notifying the customer of any advisory

*

Follow assignments through to completion, meets deadlines, and deliver on promises

You will need to own a stocked toolbox and basic servicing items and be able to use these for work.
