This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and progressive independent vehicle hire company with three branches in Buckinghamshire.  As the manager of the High Wycombe branch, you will have the authority to make pricing and operational decisions and play a key role in the growth of the brand.

You’ll be responsible for managing a small team, achieving sales performance targets, managing day to day operations and giving excellent customer service.  Specifically, you will be required to:
– Manage vehicle rental operations including handing administration, rental agreements and vehicle handovers and returns.
– Manage a small team of branch staff
– Prepare sales figures, forecasts and discuss fleet requirements (including fleet management and reporting).
– Provide quotes, advice, and liaise with customers.
– Be responsible for vehicle preparation, valeting and vehicle check-ins.
– Invoicing and taking payments from customers.
– General management of the premises including administration, cleaning and ordering supplies.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.00am-6.00pm plus 2 Saturday mornings per month.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a significant demonstrable track record in vehicle hire or a similar business.  You will also need:
– Excellent customer service and communication skills
– To be computer literate.
– Excellent marketing and presentation skills.
– Initiative and ability to respond to changing conditions and deadlines.
– To be a team player
– To have a clean driving licence.
