* Salary up to £40,000 P/A (Depending on Experience)

* Monday to Friday (41 hours p/w)

Proactive Personnel are currently working with an ever-growing, reputable company in the area who are looking to fill a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)/Estimator position within their busy Bodyshop due to growth and demand within the business.

Below is a little detail of what would be expected as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)/Estimator and the desired skills of a suitable candidate for the industry:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day to day responsibilities of a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)/Estimator will include:

* Creating estimates for all vehicles that go through the Bodyshop

* Liaising with Technicians (Panel/Paint/MET/SMART) and Bodyshop Management

* Liaising with Insurance companies and other third parties

* Provide customers with estimates according to guidelines, including price and time

* Ensuring customer satisfaction scores are maintained

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

* The ideal candidate will have experience in a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)/Estimator role within a Bodyshop/Accident Repair environment

* Experience using Audatex, Autoflow and Glassmatix or similar software

* ATA accreditation is desirable but not essential

* Full UK Driving Licence

* Systematic, highly organised with a keen eye for detail

* The ability to work in a fast paced environment

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both customers and colleagues

* Computer literate, preferably with experience of using Kerridge
