Transformation Lead
Salary : £55,000 – £60,000 + car + bonus + excellent benefit package
Full-time, 37.5hrs, Mon-Fri
Milton Keynes base with Nationwide travel and flexible location working
Reports to: Transformation Director
Scania has embarked on a transformation journey that will deliver a new operating model, processes and technology landscape to enable the business to achieve its global brand position of, ‘Driving the shift to a sustainable transport solution’ through electrification and alternative fuels.
The main responsibility of the Transformation Lead is to develop, coordinate and lead programmes of business change that support Scania’s drive towards providing sustainable transport solutions for our customers.
The role works within the Transformation team and will require extensive collaboration with key stakeholders across the business ensuring end to end delivery across the full product lifecycle from pre-sales, sales, aftersales to disposal.
Key Accountabilities
Manage the end-to-end life-cycle of change, focusing on the delivery of the business outcomes defined in the programme’s business case
Work in partnership with enabling functions (Marketing, IT etc.) to ensure the scope of the programme is delivered in time, within budget and to quality
Build a strong multi-disciplinary business programme team including SMEs
Ensure effective day-to-day management of the business programme
Define the appropriate delivery method to ensure efficiency and to enable the best possible collaboration across Scania
Maintain active engagement and collaboration with programme sponsor and stakeholders
Ensure effective and timely communication and reporting to programme governance authorities and stakeholders
Complete programme planning activities involving the business teams and ensure the programme plan is created
Track progress against the baselined programme plan
Ensure programme deliverables meet quality expectations and acceptance criteria and are signed off within the required timescales
Enable clear communication of project goals, requirements and outcomes to key stakeholders, and actively seek alignment
Where required, manage the engagement of third-party and/or outsourced vendors to deliver any aspects of the programme scope
Proactively and diligently identify and manage risks and issues, and escalating through the programme governance structure as required
Establish and lead programme governance structures
Ensure the required resources are requested and assigned to complete programme activities
About You
A track record in large scale, transformational delivery
Excellent knowledge of several project and programme management methods and agile delivery methodologies
In-depth knowledge and experience of all stages of the project and programme lifecycle, from business case development, scoping and mobilisation to design, implementation and deployment of capabilities and benefits realisation
Experience of managing a significant, internationally distributed business change workstream
Experience of setting up and using project management tools
Ability to develop and successfully lead a strong multi-disciplinary programme team across multiple locations
Ability to understand the programme’s goals and business case and become a strong agent of change
Confident communicator able to develop, tailor and deliver the right messages about the programme to the right stakeholders at the right time
Strong budget management and reporting skills
