Transformation Lead – Charging
Full-time, 37.5hrs, Monday to Friday
Salary : £55000 – £60000
Milton Keynes base with Nationwide travel and flexible location working
Reports to: Transformation Director
The main responsibility of the Transformation Lead – Charging is to develop, coordinate and promote the charging infrastructure to support Scania’s drive towards providing sustainable transport solutions for our customers.
The goal is to enable the business to achieve its global brand position of, ‘Driving the shift to a sustainable transport solution’ through our Sustainable Transport and Responsible Business approach.
This is a specialist role, requiring a passion for driving the electrification agenda with the ability to collaborate at an advanced level with multiple stakeholders; from internal employees through to key external audiences such as suppliers, partners, local authority staff, regulatory bodies, and governmental & political influencers.
The role works within the Transformation team and will require extensive collaboration with key stakeholders across the business ensuring the remit covers the full product lifecycle from pre-sales, sales, aftersales to disposal.
The role will also be operationally active, supporting and/or leading key meetings, demonstrations and presentations as required across the business.
Essential Duties & Tasks
Drive focus on
Electrification
Help support Scania’s sustainability strategy through electrification
Be the lead in developing and co-ordinating charging solutions to facilitate sales for eMobility across Truck, Bus & Coach and power solutions.
Understand electrification infrastructure within the context of our market
Manage relationships with partners and suppliers (such as fuel and Infrastructure providers) to assist in the packaging of a complete sustainable solution for the customer including installation, service and energy supply
Gather industry and competitor insights and perform benchmarking to ensure Scania is at the forefront of new technologies
Coordinate
Electrification in
the business unit
at all levels
Prioritise and coordinate charging initiatives – collaborating across teams to deliver solutions including the Charging solution team at the factory
Conduct research for analysis, market intelligence, and competitor intelligence using all available media and sources within the electrification space
Prepare reports and presentation material to key stakeholders
Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways
Map all social dialogue activities including relevant consultations
Be an active part of technical, strategic and other meetings regarding charging solutions inside Scania
Ensure a
systematic

daily work
Create and track set deliverables
Break down targets, ensures activities are ongoing in all relevant areas and through the team and stakeholders
Contribute to daily follow-up, daily steering
Participate and contribute to improvement activities based on a standardised working method
Upskill the business
Work collaboratively with internal departments, Marketing, People Team, Sales, Services, Training and Development and Corporate Comms
Collaborate and share best practice with factory stakeholders
Train the sales force and other involved personal in charging solutions
