Job Title:                Technician (Vehicle Test)

Location:                Bedfordshire

The Client:

We are working with a leading automotive company with more than a century of heritage to work within their vehicle test team. The work will support the delivery testing and validations of new vehicles across a number of sectors.  

The Role:

The business is seeking a Technician to support testing throughout the testing lifecycle from formulation tests, installation equipment, running and reporting on tests.

Responsibilities of a Technician within the business include:

Connecting vehicles to test equipment.
Installing vehicles into test chassis.
Performing testing (particularly emissions) through desired drive cycles.
Validating test results
Maintaining and calibrating test equipment.
Continuous improvement of systems, equipment and processes.
Following H&S and quality standards.
Working with other testing teams.
 
You will have a good understanding of basic motor vehicles systems along with automotive diagnostic and / or testing experience.
