MSX International is looking for experienced Automotive Technical Trainers to join our team at the Volkswagen National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Automotive Technicians to use years of industry experience to train Service Technicians.
The Role
The role of Automotive Technical Trainer offers an exciting opportunity to be part of high performing teams.
Working within modern training environments and using the latest automotive technology and equipment the Automotive Technical Trainer will be responsible for delivering a range of engaging and informative training programs, which will include elements of course development and design.
Using your passion, technical skills and knowledge, the Automotive Technical Trainer will:
deliver core technical and project-based training programmes
deliver engaging, learner-focused training solutions aligned to TAP methodology
ensure all ROI evaluations are briefed and completed
align all delivery to VWG and individual brand cultures and requirements
utilise innovative digital technologies during the delivery of remote learning interventions
undertake design work as and when required that is learner-focused, aligned to TAP methodology and brand/factory requirements, covering all training areas
undertake all aspects of administration in relation to training delivery
develop new materials for the delivery of new Model Launch courses
attend factory or brand led events as a representative of the brand, MSX International and Learning Services, ranging from Train the Trainer events to Product Launches
About you
We are looking for Automotive Technical Trainers with a passion for developing the skills and knowledge of others.
With practical vocational skills and expertise in the areas you are required to train, our ideal Automotive Technical Trainers will:
be an automotive professional with a passion for cars
have up-to date technical automotive knowledge from a retailer network
demonstrate how you are keeping up to date with the newest technology
have at least 5 years’ post apprentice experience as a technician on the shop floor
have a proven track record of achieving performance targets
have a dynamic and engaging delivery style, always maintaining engagement from all delegates
be up to date with new and revised learning and development theories, practices and methodologies including technological advancements
have experience of utilising technology in the delivery of training such as webinars, social media
be personable whilst imparting varying levels of technical knowledge
hold an Industry recognised delivery accreditation (desirable)
