Job Title:             Solderer

Location:             Loudwater/High Wycombe, Bucks

Salary:                 £19,000 – £22,000 depending on experience

Hours:                  Monday – Friday – 9am-5pm – Some flexibility is available

Our client are recognised as providing the power behind many diverse and specialist industries. A specialist in the design, manufacture, supply and support of on-board vehicle and off-grid electrical power and control products with integration

We currently have a vacancy for a Workshop Operative to join us at our base in High Wycombe, which supplies to the Emergency Services and Specialist Vehicle sectors. The position will be based within the production team building products to meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Builds prototypes as directed

• Carry out multi-disciplined tasks and are trained to achieve maximum levels of quality of build.

• Responsible for the quality of their own product.

• Self-Inspection (on-line) is used to achieve uniformity of production.

• All assembly staff carry-out multi-disciplined tasks and are trained to achieve maximum levels of quality of build.

• Maintain good housekeeping within workshop

• Comply at all times with the Company’s quality and HSE policies

• Carry out any other reasonable management instruction

Requirements

• Experience in electronic production desired

• Relevant Electrical/Electronic qualification desired

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors
