Our Client are an internationally based Automotive technology company with an ambitious goal to re-define and revolutionise the next generation of in-vehicle experience with the development of an industry leading Augmented Reality Head Up Display.
Using the innovative technology of phase only holography, they are making this a reality!
They have already assembled some of the world’s top scientists & engineers from worldwide renowned companies and due to the success and growth of their product development activities, they are now looking to invest in the support of an experienced Software Engineer with particular focus on software applications. On offer to the successful candidate is a highly competitive, albeit negotiable basic salary, together with a full and comprehensive benefits package.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Develop new and enhance existing tools for calibration, measurements and research
* Research and develop image processing/machine vision algorithms for system calibration
* Collaborate with engineers and researches in the field of Holography and Optics
Required Skills:
* Ideally educated to Master’s Degree level in Computer Science/Engineering with 8+ years of professional experience or equivalent experience
* Proficiency in software development with C++
* Should ideally have experience working with the Automotive industry or aligned high-technology industry sectors with knowledge of Display technologies.
* Strong experience with QT/QML
* Excellent programming skills in C# (WinForms)
* Good knowledge of multithreading and OOP (object oriented programming)
* Strong debugging, problem-solving and analytical skills
* Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment
* Experience with image and video processing algorithms
* Experience in MATLAB
Desirable Skills:
* Experience in CUDA programming
* Experience with computer vision and/or machine learning
* Experience in embedded system development
* Experience of working with cameras systems (live image acquisition and calibration)
