Senior Digital Business Analyst x 3 – Milton Keynes
The Company:
Focus Group Recruitment have the pleasure with working alongside global leading electric charging business. Our client are the UK leaders within their sector. Over the course of 10 years, our customer has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On their mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, their charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.
The Role:
The overall purpose of the position is to Create exceptional customer experiences through the definition and delivery of high-quality digital products that help EV drivers charge quickly and efficiently.
The Digital Business Analyst will be a key member of a high performing team, tasked with delivering an ambitious digital product portfolio across B2C/B2B domains.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
* Define product requirements, driven by customer and business need
* Work closely with the Product Managers to determine product roadmaps, ensure ruthless feature prioritisation, and help drive continuous and incremental improvement
* Operate across business functions to engage stakeholders, teams, and colleagues to ensure effective collaboration and engagement throughout the product development lifecycle
* Facilitate workshops and forums with cross-functional representation to capture requirements and clarify processes (current and target state)
* Own the creation and management of epics, features, user stories and acceptance criteria (through relevant development software tools)
* Create end to end process maps and user flows to help define/articulate customer journey and operational processes, identifying opportunities to streamline/lean/build right first time
* Work as part of a scrum team, in close collaboration with designers, architects and developers, ensuring the product requirements are clear, achievable, and deliverable
* Be able to work closely with technical/solution architecture teams based on user needs (e.g. to inform development of platform/services/APIs)
* Use data and analytics to help inform decisions and ensure adequate rationale is in place for all requirements, challenging business teams and stakeholders where necessary to ensure best customer and commercial outcomes
* Take a hand-on approach to product testing/QA, working closely with business stakeholders, quality assurance and scrum team
* Develop and execute test scenarios/scripts
* Produce all outputs to an exceptionally high standard
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Digital Business Analyst. And MUST have the below skills:
* 3+ years’ experience as business analyst working as part of a digital product function
* Deep understanding of digital product development, including tools, ways of working/best practice, agile methodologies
* Highly experienced working as part of a scrum team, must be able to display practical working experience
* Highly experience capturing requirements, following agile framework
* Experience managing and facilitating product test/QA e.g. UAT
* Experience in working with Azure DevOps for epic/feature/story documentation would be an advantage
* Proven track record of operating in high-intensity environments with time critical pressures
* Self-starter mentality with drive and motivation whilst also being an exceptional communicator who works well within a multidisciplinary team
* Positive personality, with energetic working style and very strong resilience
* Combination of structured/holistic thinking with tangible/pragmatic execution
* Passionate about continuous improvement, process efficiency and working as part of a high performing team
QUALIFICATIONS
* Degree (preferred), ideally in engineering, computer science, information systems, business or similar field
* Agile / Scrum / BA qualifications or accréditations
The Location:
The role is based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire (Office based 2-3 days/week) and commutable from surrounding areas of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
Salary: £50k – £55k plus great benefits including contributed pension scheme, 25 days + 8 days bank holidays + EV leasing scheme (once successfully completed probation)
