Our client is seeking an individual to support the Sales Director in the delivery of both team and personal sales targets from existing customers as well as new business, both SME / Retail. The role encompasses both ongoing effective account management as well as delivering high levels of customer satisfaction.

NOTE: Car owner/driver essential. This role is based on the outskirts of Marlow. OTE £35k (basic salary is £18k).

Key Responsibilities:

* Delivers on sales targets as allocated by the Sales Director and/ or Team Leader.

* To support the Sales Director in the provision of information and costings required for the tender process as well as for customer presentations for both new and existing customers.

* Achieve agreed monthly and quarterly unit target levels, and maintain average gross profitability.

* Preparation of and follow up on customer quotes.

* Input, update and maintain accurate records relating to customer communications, leads and other data on business CRM in order to maximise business opportunities.

* Produce and deliver to Sales Director accurate sales pipeline data.

* Ensure full compliance with FCA as well as other relevant legislative requirements for the business.

* Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and customer retention by supporting customers throughout the sales process through to delivery and after sales service.

* Be fully conversant with all aspects of finance plans and finance packages that are available to customers and be able to discuss these in detail with customers.

* Ongoing account management of existing customers.

Essential Skills/ Experience:

* Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Highly self-motivated and comfortable with change.

* Working knowledge of objection handling and closing techniques.

* Excellent telephone manner with strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Numerically competent with ability to create reports from CRM data.

* High levels of accuracy and attention to detail in work.

* Target and sales driven with good commercial and financial awareness.

* Educated to minimum GCSE grade C (level 5) in Maths and English or equivalent (ideally educated to A level/ BTec).

Desirable:

* Knowledge, experience or an interest in electrical, automotive or energy sectors would be useful, including compliance and FCA regulations.
