We are currently recruiting for an NPI Project Manager at a leading automotive manufacturer in Milton Keynes.

With significant investment in new equipment and production lines, the business is moving through a period of substantial growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to be at the forefront of that growth, helping the business through a busy launch period and beyond.

Description

Create and develop programme timing plans to match customer requirements
Manage content of APQP process including all customer reporting
Assist in identifying manufacturing process changes to improve efficiencies and team potential
Manage resources in tandem with internal business function to deliver programmes
Control, track and report programme status through the programme life
Build relationships with internal and external customers
Present monthly updates including support data and problem resolution
Feedback from significant customer meetings to provide further programme updates
Identify business development opportunities with customers
Maximise the commercial potential of each customer programme ensuring the business case is strong through the product-development process

Profile

Background in Automotive Tier 1 Manufacturing
Understanding of plastic injection moulding would be advantageous
Excellent customer liaison skills
Target-driven and self-starting
Detailed knowledge of APQP process
Previous commercial responsibility for programmes
Natural leader, competent in building a team with hands-on approach

Job Offer

Project Manager salary from £45,000 – £55,000
