Product Support Manager
Location: Milton Keynes

Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have a new and exciting opportunity for a Product Support Manager to join the team based at our Milton Keynes Support Centre.

Reporting to the General Manager – Connected, Driver & Fleet Services, you will manage the development, activation and sales strategy for Connected Services in the UK. You will coordinate and manage the provision of support services to improve network knowledge and understanding of the product using a variety of communication techniques. Implement strategies to increase sales, activation and subscription to the packages offered.
You will be identifying and implementing new connected solutions into the market, both on a local and global platform, as well as improving the existing portfolio in line with our business’ objectives. You will work towards delivering the long-term strategy in a fast moving and adaptable environment.
The role involves managing relationships with existing Connected Services customers, supporting the selling of services to new/conquest customers via supporting regional salespersons (New, Used & Services).
You will also be responsible for managing a small team in which you will explore internal processes and systems within the department, with a view to increasing efficiency and customer service levels through automation and integration.
You will also liaise with the factory and local GTS to provide technical and commercial support where required.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies to increase the activation rates and paid subscriptions in line with objectives
Develop plans to increase customer awareness and sales opportunities
Develop dynamic and interactive training material to support the business salespersons
Maintain knowledge of the products available, market and competition
Develop customer relationships to establish their needs and enhance the product.
Manage the technical support process ensuring prompt resolution of issues
Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify future technology and trends
Secure efficiencies within internal systems & processes
Promote product communication internally and externally through relevant business sales channels.
Maintain regular and professional contact with factory and group companies for developing services & products.
Ensure a quality customer focus is maintained to support the Scania brand values.
Manage small team of administrators implementing D2D subscription management
Develop and implement regular marketing communication to raise awareness
Liaise with factory colleagues to maximise support and develop UK sales
Work with the UK truck sales and Aftersales teams to assist in the sales process
Provide KPI reporting as required
