We are currently recruiting a Process Engineer position on an afternoon shift pattern (14:45- 23:00) for a globally recognised Tier 1 Automotive supplier in Milton Keynes.

Description

Developing and improving manufacturing processes alongside quality control measures to maximise both qualitative and quantitative output from the plant
Support the development and implementation of new products into manufacture, support these through life-cycle
Continuously develop manufacturing process to improve efficiency, cost and yield
Responsible for line support, overcoming any technical issues relating to that area
Develop and maintain tooling and equipment specifications relevant to the processing of new and existing components
Liaison with suppliers to ensure that their processes meet required standards and that their services are operating at maximum efficiency with regards to quality.
Ensuring that all safe working practices are operational and documented thoroughly, encompassing PFMEA's, training/development and Risk Assessments.Profile

Automotive background essential in Process Engineer/ Project Engineer/ Manufacturing Engineer role
Comprehensive understanding of Plastic Injection Moulding
Lean Six Sigma competencies, Green Belt advantageous
Excellent problem solving skills
Superb communication skills with ability to build relationships with many different internal business functions
Fully conversant with NPI/ Launch procedures (i.e. PPAP and APQP) Job Offer

Salary for the successful Process Engineer is from £45,000 – £50,000 inclusive of shift allowance
