People Services Administrator
People Team based in the Scania GB Head Office in Milton Keynes
Salary up to £35,000 based on experience
Working hours Monday to Friday 08:45 to 17:00
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Resourcing & People Services, you are part of a small and busy team acting as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and managers providing a hands-on service throughout the entire employee lifecycle. In support of the People Business Partner team, you will also provide first line HR advisory support for employees and Managers.

Tasks
Responsible for all aspects of the transactional HR service, including but not limited to, preparing documents and working with the processes for employees who are joining, moving within or leaving the business
Provide first-line HR advisory support where required for Managers and Employees. Respond to general HR enquiries relating to our people policies and processes
Implement and maintain all of our Scania people-processes
Administer and support Managers in the use of the global HR systems and processes, e.g. access to performance reviews, annual engagement survey
Provide single point of contact for the occupational health provider and health surveillance provider, monitoring the People Business Partners of anything requiring action
Provide advice on pre-employment checks and compliance requirements
Working closely with our wider People team to ensure a smooth employee experience across all administrative topics
Monitoring and identifying trends in employee absence levels
Provide employment references in line with data protection legislation
Supporting with the delivery of ad-hoc people projects as required
Raise purchase orders as required
Ensure everything we do is delivered in a compliant way in accordance with our internal policies & guidelines, and legislative requirements

Demonstrable experience in both HR administration and in providing first-line advisory support
