We are recruiting an excellent position for a NPI Quality Engineer at a leading automotive manufacturer based in Milton Keynes.

Our client is a leading automotive manufacturer, based in the Milton Keynes area. With significant growth on the horizon, this represents an opportunity for an NPI Quality Engineer to help the organisation deliver projects on time with high-quality products.

Description

Lead relationship with customer in all issues relating to quality
Ensure customer quality requirements are met through APQP process
Provide assistance in preparing product gateway reviews
Deal with non-conformity in an appropriate manner with authority to instigate containment activity
Work closely with design team to ensure correct notation of dimension and wider specifications are detailed on drawing prior to release
Manage the customer PPAP submission package through to approval stages
Ensure compliance to wider quality systems including IATF16949 Profile

Tier 1 automotive background
Excellent quality toolkit encompassing APQP procedures, PPAP, 8D and FMEA
Exceptional interpersonal skills; confident liaising with customers as well as suppliers
Comprehensive understanding of containment actions
Competent with Root Cause Analysis and corrective action procedures
Thorough and methodical in approach Job Offer

Salary for the successful NPI Quality Engineer is from £35,000 – £40,000
