Maintenance Engineer – Buckinghamshire – £35,000 – £40,000 dependant on experience

Role: Maintenance Engineer

Reporting to: Directors

Hours of work: Mon – Fri (40 hours, flexible start and finish time between 7.00AM – 6.00PM)

Salary range: £35,000 – £40,000 dependant on experience

Benefits: 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, Christmas shutdown.

A Leading Manufacturer based in Buckinghamshire are looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to be part of their production team.

You will be involved in planned and preventative maintenance as well as responding to emergency breakdowns across two plants.

The role:

* Planned & planned and preventative maintenance schedules, breakdowns and associated maintenance tasks.

* Ensure all machines are safe and fit for purpose.

* Actively promote safe working practices.

* Has a logical and methodical approach.

* Computer literacy skills (SAP) would be an advantage.

* Welding / Fabrication.

* Liaising with contractors and suppliers

* Work well under pressure to ensure deadlines are met

* General maintenance of the factory shop floor. Ensuring all machines and equipment that are installed are maintained in good working order.

Essential skills and requirements:

* Electrical fault finding, troubleshooting, improvements, repair, maintenance, installation or commissioning experience.

* Experience with heavy engineering – pumps, gearboxes, motors etc.

* PLC Knowledge such as Siemens, Mitsubishi, are not essential but would be an advantage.

* Pneumatics, Electronics, Hydraulics & Mechanical engineering– such as compressors, electrical tools and equipment, welding machinery.

* Robotics maintenance experience would be an advantage

* Own transport is required as you may be required to occasionally travel between two sites.
