MM575: Logistics Support Engineer
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £42000 – £48000 DOE

Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our global client to recruit a Logistics Support Engineer to join their team in Uxbridge.

The Role:

This position is responsible for the performance of Logistics Support Analysis (LSA), production of the Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) and to make recommendations to enhance the supportability of the products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Produce LSAR data sets by means of thorough product research and structured Analysis (LSA) in accordance with specified standards. Identify maintenance requirements, procedures and all associated support resources necessary for sustainment of the product in-service
Populate LSAR using appropriate software packages ensuring compliance with necessary protocols and standards
Understand customer requirements and end-user’s maintenance concept in accordance with customer provided specifications / statement of work
Provide Design team with constructive and timely feedback for improvement in product support.
Work with Reliability and Maintainability Engineers to produce an all-inclusive LSAR database
Liaise with Technical Publications to provide clarification and validation of core data transferred from the LSAR to company technical manuals
Perform LSA / LSAR reviews with internal departments or customers to validate the data set and to enhance the supportability of the products
Essential Skills and Experience:

Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace HNC / degree or equivalent
General experience in working with the design of mechanical or electro mechanical equipment
Thorough grounding in the production and documentation of a LSAR; making design and maintenance recommendations
Sound fundamental knowledge of mechanical engineering
Excellent problem solving/investigative skills
Strong expertise in Microsoft Office, SAP and specialist LSAR software
Well-developed planning and organisation skills
Strong numerical and verbal skills – data manipulation
Security Clearance will be required
