Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist (12-month Contract)
The Company:
Focus Group Recruitment have the pleasure with working alongside global leading electric charging business. Our client are the UK leaders within their sector. Over the course of 10 years, our customer has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On their mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, their charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.
The Role:
Lead and manage end to end experienced hiring, using market leading approaches and processes, working with the business leaders to identify, engage and attract talent to our client.
Work closely with the business to support the realisation of our client’s talent strategy, in line with their resource demand plan.
Focus on the quality of the hire, candidate experience, D&I, and finding critical skills to ensure our client continues to grow to delivery its plan and strategy. Act as an expert advisor and coach to hiring managers on all matters related to talent acquisition.
Our client will play a critical role in supporting their ambition to achieve “Net Zero by 2050”. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Business Analyst to make this happen.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
* Management of a small TA team
* Support line managers through-out all stages of the recruitment process, from the initial brief through, identifying recruitment sourcing methods, sourcing suitable candidates, short listing, developing interview questions and assessments, and supporting in those interviews and assessments.
* Build effective working relationships with line managers, providing advice and guidance on recruitment polies and procedures
* Encourage recruitment best practice across the business
* Develop multi-channel routes to market, both via direct sourcing methodologies and through the use of key recruitment agencies
* Monitor, review and update recruitment procedures ensuring they are in line with current legislation and best practice
* Ensure equitable and fit for purpose approaches are used across all recruitment activities
* Post offer and acceptance, supporting line manager in onboarding processes
* Produce resourcing data and reports
* Use TA tools and systems to create an effective process (sourcing such tools/systems if appropriate)
* Work with our client’s TA team to identify sources of best practice, whilst continuing to deliver a bespoke service for our client
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have a deep track record and experience in managing end to end recruitment activities in a fast-growing organisation as well as:
* Experience of developing and implementing a recruitment plan to meet business plan and strategy
* Up to date, innovative Sourcing and Attraction experience
* Use of technology and tools in the TA processes
* Excellent communication skills
* Effective influencing skills
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Up to date knowledge of relevant employment legislation and its practical application in a TA context
The Location:
The role is split between home based (2 – 3 days) and the head office in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE ABLE TO TRAVEL TO THE OFFICE IN MILTON KEYNES AS THE ROLE WILL BE HOME & OFFICE BASED (Post Covid).
Salary: Up to £60k plus great benefits including contributed pension scheme, 25 days + 8 days bank holidays + EV leasing scheme (once successfully completed probation).
