Information Security Co-Ordinator

Reports to: CISO (Chief Information Security Officer)
Salary: £29000 – £35000 + bonus + excellent benefit package

Summary
Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have a new and exciting opportunity for Information Security Coordinator to join the team based at our Head Office in Milton Keynes.
Reporting to the CISO, the Information Security Coordinator will work closely with other areas within the business. In your role you will coordinate Information Risk and Data Protection Impact assessments and assist with inhouse audits. You will ensure third party supplier assessments are completed, reviewed, and followed up on. As the first point of contact for information and queries, you will be responsible for keeping the Scania Information Security home page up to date. The role will suit a highly motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and continually improve.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Support the CISO in Information Security objectives.
Establish and maintain communication channels with stakeholders
Support critical IT projects to ensure that identified security issues are addressed throughout the project life cycle.
Support security processes, procedures and service-level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that security controls are managed and maintained.
Making Information Security an integrated part of daily operations and processes
Support Scania in the coordination and facilitation of the Information Risk Assessment Methodology and Data Protection Impact Assessment processes by using approved corporate tools and methods
Liaise with partners and suppliers on third party assessments.
Support business to comply with Scania Information Security Principles, Rules and Standards
Perform internal audits against Scania Information Security Principles, Rules and Standards
Coordinate and facilitate Scania Information Security Awareness activities.
As part of auditing and awareness activities travel may be required.

Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computing or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge of Information risk management concepts, principles, frameworks and methodologies
An understanding of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO27001:2013 ISMS and Cyber Essentials standards and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST),
Knowledge and understanding of DPA 2018/GDPR.
Knowledge of the fundamentals of project management,
Experience in performing risk assessments.
Experience in communicating security policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
Ability to interact with Scania colleagues at all levels and across all business units.
A strong customer focus, with the ability to maintain and build long-term relationships.
Willingness to learn new skills and develop existing ones
Self-motivated with the ability to work individually and as part of a wider team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
Excellent time management skills
Experience / skillsregarded as ideal but not essential
2 years IT experience.
Audit, compliance, or governance experience
ISO27001 Lead Implementer experience
DPA 2018/GDPR foundation
CompTIA – Security +
