Working hours – 8:30-5:30 – Mon-Fri

I am currently seeking an FEA Engineer to contribute to the structural analysis of a variety of exciting projects.

The FEA Engineer will be expected to analyse and improve Composite and Metallic structures, using a combination of Finite Element Analysis supported by traditional hand calculations.

* Engineering degree in a relevant discipline

* An understanding of automotive components (Preferably Motorsport)

* Industrial experience in an engineering role.

* Experience of mechanics of materials.

* Previous experience using commercial FEA software, preferably Abaqus and ANSA if possible

* Experience in setting up models in Abaqus CAE

* Able to perform traditional ‘hand’ calculations.

* Able to understand complicated concepts and learn quickly.

* Attention to detail is key, and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

* Good communication skills (verbal and written).
