FEA ENGINEER – F1 – Motorsport – Super / Hyper Car

Contract Length – ASAP – 30-09-21

Possible extension of a few months

Inside IR35

Up to 50 hrs per week

Working hours – 8:30-5:30 – Mon-Fri

I am currently seeking an FEA Engineer for an immediate start to contribute to the structural analysis of a variety of exciting projects.

The FEA Engineer will be expected to analyse and improve Composite and Metallic structures, using a combination of Finite Element Analysis supported by traditional hand calculations.

Junior / mid-level role, the successful applicant should have the following attributes:

* Engineering degree in a relevant discipline

* Industrial experience in an engineering role.

* Experience of mechanics of materials.

* Previous experience using commercial FEA software, preferably Abaqus and ANSA

* Able to perform traditional ‘hand’ calculations.

* Able to understand complicated concepts and learn quickly.

* Attention to detail is key, and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

* Good communication skills (verbal and written).
