A superb new role has been created to deliver and execute e a 6 month long live project in Milton Keynes. You will have a passion for the automotive industry (ideally within the luxury sector), the desire to manage and supersede client expectations and 1st class customer and client liaison skills.
Working hours are 8am-6pm Weds-Sunday each week, plus Bank Holidays (time in lieu will be given) although some flexibility will be required, as is the nature with any events role.
The role:
The Product Specialist would assume the delivery of sharing product information at an activation site for 6 months. The Product Specialist is responsible for interpreting the product training provided by HQ and delivering the key messages via a presentation to an audience of a approx.16 customers in an efficient and Covid secure manner. The purpose of the activation is to provide the maximum number of experiences that have been projected and planned for in advance by HQ.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the below experience:
• Automotive product knowledge and the desire to learn about the EV industry sector (we will provide job specific training).
• Demonstrate a good use of vocabulary, enthusiasm, and passion for delivering automotive content.
• An accomplished presentation style which is fluent and engages the listener.
• Keep presentations running to a tight schedule, responding positively and quickly to customer questions.
• Work well as a part of a wider team, ensuring the delivery of the event is seamless and exceeds the client’s expectations.
• Demonstrate the ability to adapt and suggest changes set by the overarching Project Manager and/or client to enhance the customer experience.
• Operate to an exceptional level of delivery, with the confidence to liaise directly with the client and be flexible and open to change.
• The ability to accept criticism from peers, along with constructive feedback and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
• Ensure good product awareness and delivery of key messages during each customer presentation.
• Ability to create and deliver a compelling presentation to grab an audience’s attention with ambient back ground music playing.
• Desire to keep up to date with industry trends enhancing your ability to react to customer questions and widen your knowledge base.
• Mentor and develop more junior members of the team.
Key qualities:
• Solid experience of automotive training.
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Has a developed / specialist knowledge of the subject area.
• Proven record in a customer facing role.
• To be flexible and open to change.
• Good technical understanding to interact with a digital customer experience.
• A passion for the live events industry.
• An overarching client service ethic.
• Proactive, can do attitude who is with great time management.
