Digitalisation & IT Director

Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have a challenging and exciting opportunity for a Digitalisation and IT Director to join the team based at our Support Centre in Milton Keynes. This is the highest IT leadership role for the enterprise and your objective is to deliver digital transformation across the Business Unit. You will lead the journey towards digitalisation as a business enabler, as well as ensuring efficient IT Operations and a well-functioning Project Management Office (PMO). Making sure there are well defined, properly managed and widely known strategies, transformation roadmaps and portfolios for Digitalisation, IT and PMO. You will achieve your objectives by utilising the Scania leadership principles in a manner which is in line with our values and you will display, tenacity, resilience and agility as your pursue and deliver the key outcomes of digitalisation for the benefit of the whole organization.
Tasks & Duties
Lead the Digitalisation Department to ensure necessary conditions and structures are in place to support the digital transformation to lead the shift towards an integration of digitalisation as a business enabler.
Lead the IT Department to ensure necessary conditions and structures are in place, including governance, for efficient IT and IT department operations in the Business Unit.
Lead the Project Management Office by supporting portfolio and project managers through all project phases
Build and lead the teams
Systemize improvement work according to the Scania way
Act as an ambassador and spokesman for the ‘Scania Driving the Shift Strategy’ and be the agent for creating and implementing smart ways of working .

Relevant education or equivalent work experience
Business knowledge and experience from a similar role (both Retail, IT and Digitalisation preferably) an advantage
