Summary
The main responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist will be to lead the digital implementation for the UK Market’s tactical and strategic plans. The role will also be responsible for the day-to-day delivery, control, and effectiveness of all of Scania’s online national platforms and communications. This will include Scania UK websites and 3rd party sites, SEO Platforms, Analytics and Paid digital accounts.
The Digital Marketing Specialist will always safeguard and develop the Scania Brand via all the online channels and work closely with our counterparts in Sweden to keep up to date on Scania compliance guidelines.
The post holder will be required to work closely with other members of the Brand and wider marketing team, as well as key stakeholders/ project managers within the Scania network and external agencies. There will also be a requirement to support the Scania regional network and independent dealer groups.
The post holder will work alongside the national marketing executives, marketing business partners and project owners to develop the digital strategy for all campaign activity integrated with the marketing 360° process including measurement and tracking of results. Ultimately, the role will have operational ownership of the digital process by analyzing and presenting the effectiveness of their activities through key data metrics and budget management.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities
Work alongside the national marketing executives and social media lead to plan, deliver and measure digital aspect of all campaigns.
Oversee the allocated digital budget and track investment by department, channel and region.
Work with Insight, Research and Lead-Gen team to commission market and customer analysis to drive campaign development.
Work with external suppliers to design and commission integrated, creative campaigns across digital channels.
Be mindful of the 360° process – tracking weekly to agreed metrics, responding in an agile manner to modify approach as required.
Collate, analyse and report campaign results for all activity.
Collaborate, communicate with and influence all department stakeholders relevant to your areas of responsibility.
Lead operational meetings, follow-up sessions, visual updates, statistics and debriefs on activity throughout the year.
Manage a complete and accurate digital schedule (all activity, timings, channels, budget) daily throughout the year.
Manage the development of external websites and other digital platforms and software.
Give critical analysis of digital content and competitor activity, in order to identify new digital marketing opportunities.
Have an extensive knowledge of SEO, PPC and Paid digital channels.
Work alongside our SEO agencies to maximise Scania’s search performance online.
Produce, implement and maintain content on the Scania UK website in accordance with global marketing updates and local content.
Publish content to UK Dealer Sites in accordance with dealer requirements and relevant UK content.
Drive innovation in communication to improve effectiveness and reach in target groups, reduce waste and improve automation in communications methods.
Have knowledge and clear understanding of google and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) analytics to be able to measure and track traffic and performance on our websites.
Manage, utilise and plan the social strategy for all divisions within the business.
Be inspirational and keep up-to-date with digital trends.
Drive innovation in communication to improve effectiveness and reach in target groups, reduce waste and improve automation in communications methods.
Drive an effective presence and content strategy in customer/driver relevant online channels (Social Media, Search, Web and Mobile).
Monitor developing trends in the digital and automation arenas.
Support the sales organisation with digital tools that improve customer experience and reduce waste in print.
Seek improvements in the sales lead generation/funnel process through CRM integration and segmentation, with the help of digital tools where applicable.
Drive and support the Brand Team including National Marketing Executive & Marketing Business Partners and wider network with all online platforms.
Support the dealers with information, tools, campaigns to plan and execute their M&C plans and activities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Good working knowledge of fundamental marketing principals essential
Web content development and CMS essential (Adobe Experience preferred)
Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop essential, InDesign, Illustrator, and After Effects preferred)
Social media marketing essential

Education and/or Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in digital marketing and content management
