Arden White have partnered with a leading Formula 1 team and are currently seeking a Design Engineer with a bias toward powertrain design using NX to join the Powertrains team in the Validation and Testing Group.

This is initially a 3 month fixed term contract starting ASAP.

What will I be doing?

Design, implement and maintain robust test rigs /dressing kits to validate performance and durability of Unit Under Test (UUT's), including complete Powertrain assemblies, PU's, Gearboxes, subsystems and single components.
Design support from assembly to integration
Liaising with & managing suppliers
Verify hardware and rig setup requirements
Develop new and refine existing procedures
What do I need?

Design experience in engine and/or powertrain testing.
Bachelor and/or master's degree in mechanical engineering (or related field)
A solid understanding of manufacturing techniques
Proficiency in all aspects of 3D CAD (Siemens NX)
