Commercial Programme Delivery Manager
The Company:
Focus Group Recruitment have the pleasure with working alongside this global leading electric charging business. My client are the UK leaders within their sector. Over the course of 10 years, our customer has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On their mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, their charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.
The Role
Our client provides Electric Vehicle Charging equipment for use in Home, Workplace and Public environments. They own and operate the UK’s largest charging network and have over 40,000 home chargers installed in domestic properties.
We are looking for a Commercial Programme Delivery Manager to play a key role in the commercial and contractual delivery EV charging roll-outs, you’ll be an integral part of the team who are dedicated to making positive change, transforming an industry and helping our planet.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks:
* Maintain commercial & contractual responsibility for high level programmes.
* Advise the programme manager on commercial issues
* Where applicable take control of valuations of work and be accountable for profitability of the project
* Manage the project change control process, identifying change, assessing, and documenting any claims to the client
* Ensure both parties comply with the contract and resolve any issues arising
* Provide regularly reports on the financial performance of the contract including maintaining a commercial risk log
* Manage the commercial and contractual relationship with subcontractors
* Working in partnership with our Technical Programme Manager to deliver fast paced EV charging projects
* Attend regular stakeholder meetings to ensure programme delivery & customer satisfaction.
* Providing regular reports to our Head of Sales.
* Understanding, managing and communicating to complex stakeholder groups, balancing priorities.
* Regular generation and process of quotations.
* Removing blockers and manage risks, commercials, budgets and people.
* Work closely and build strong relationships with key functions in the company.
* Liaise with production and installation teams to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
* Developing a lasting relationship with clients
QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience of managing contractual relationships in a project environment
* Experience in either a Commercial Manager role or Senior QS with responsibility for contract compliance
* Commercial knowledge & experience essential.
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of the EV and EV charging industry is beneficial.
* Degree/HND/C in related subject
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have 5 – 10 years’ experience as a Commercial Programme Delivery manager. This is a great opportunity for a Programme Manager to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Must be able to operate from Milton Keynes office, with travel to other locations on needs basis (assuming normal business practice/post covid).
The Location:

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + great benefits including, contributed pension scheme, 25 days + 8 days bank holidays
