Job Title – CMM Technician

£ 31,000 p.a. (inc shift premium) + 33 days holiday (inc banks) + pension + Career development opportunities

Are you a  CMM Technician, CMM inspector or CMM operator, interested in working in the metrology team inspecting parts for some of the most prestigious automotive manufacturers on the planet? CMM Technician responsibilities;

Inspection using CMM, Faro Arm and various inspection tools such as Vernier Callipers, micrometres, dial indicators, slip gauges.
Providing various measurement support and completing inspection reports
The completion of device and component verification and validation in support of development and manufacturing
Ensure best practices are adopted in all dimensional verification activities
Taking a leading role in Measurement Study Analysis
Managing the calibration and verification of equipment
Any other duties as required by the Metrology/quality management team
Work a set afternoon shift (15:00 – 23:00) Monday to Friday
An exciting opportunity for a CMM Technician with the following;

Previous experience working in metrology and inspection of parts using a CMM (ideally operating on PCDMIS software) in a precision Engineering/manufacturing environment
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Faro arm (Polyworks)  experience beneficial but not essential
