Centre Manager – Milton Keynes (12-month FTC)

The Company:

Focus Group Recruitment have the pleasure with working alongside global leading electric charging business. Our client are the UK leaders within their sector. Over the course of 10 years, our customer has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On their mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, their charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.

The Role:

The overall purpose of the position involves managing a small team and introducing and driving improvements to ensure our partners get maximum benefit from promoting their vehicles at the centre and that we provide the best experience for customers visiting it. Our client will play a critical role in supporting their ambition to achieve “Net Zero by 2050”. We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Centre Manager to make this happen.

This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) with the possibility to extend.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

* Drive improved standards throughout the Centre and effectively lead the EV Gurus to ensure the delivery of the companies’ brand values to every customer

* Liaise with the commercial team to develop training events to new industries for EV adopters

* MK Promise – Support local businesses in the Milton Keynes area with their aspirations to move to the EV market

* You will love coaching and developing your team to deliver the best results

* You will be process driven and compliant and be able to instil retail disciplines

* You will pride yourself on merchandising standards and the presentation of your store

* Service multiple clients concurrently, meeting deadlines and reporting to our partners

* Must be able to use excel to report on key requirements for the business

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Management. And MUST have the below skills:

* OEM / Dealership or Retail experience would be great

* Analytical IT reporting skills, especially word, excel, office etc.

An interest in the Electric Vehicles, Automotive, Transport, and Energy markets, low carbon transition and Climate Change would be advantageous.

The Location:

The role is based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire and commutable from surrounding areas of Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.

Salary: Up to £33k plus great benefits including contributed pension scheme, 25 days + 8 days bank holidays + Variable bonus subject to personal performance
