Newstaff Employment services are working with a Calibration business in the Milton Keynes area

We are looking for a Calibration Technical Manager to motivate calibration personal to perform calibrations to meet departments service levels whilst maintaining the quality of the calibrations performed

The Job:

To create Technical procedures for the calibration processes at the Milton Keynes Laboratory
To provide technical training for calibration staff in the acoustics field
Ensure staff are compliant and committed to the highest levels of Health & Safety and housekeeping
Identify resources to meet Calibration Service Levels
Identify training and development needs of team members
To continually look to develop the Calibration business
Essential:

Previous experience of ISO 9001/ISO/IEC 17025 calibration environment
Head of Laboratory experience of working within a calibration laboratory
Working knowledge of Microsoft office
Ability to manage annual budgets

Desirable:

Good educational background up to degree level or equivalent desirable
Head of calibration Laboratory
Prvious accounstics knowlegde
Technical qualifcations
