Our Client is one of the World leaders in the manufacture and Tier 1 supply of high-technology multimedia products for the Automotive sector. A new job opportunity has arisen for a Brand Marketing Executive on a permanent basis. This is a multifunctional role which requires a strong Marketing and Public Relations person who has worked within the Automotive and/or Aftermarket industry.
Reporting to the Aftermarket Senior Manager, your essential duties and responsibilities will include the following:
Marketing:
* Develop strategy of the new distribution channel. (Online sales, Car by Car products distribution)
* Research market movement and create the assumptions of the future direction.
* Initiate social networking analysis and promotion activity (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc).
* Managing POS requirements for dealers and end-customer.
* Managing promotional activities to the dealers.
* Maintaining relationships with journalists of tuning titles ensuring products are featured in magazines.
* Organising shows and exhibitions – e.g. Motorhome Camping & Caravan show and other car shows.
* Control of marketing spend against budget.
* General marketing duties.
Business Analysis:
* -Support yearly and half yearly business plan (Sales Budget, Operation Budget).
* Business forecasting.
* Maintaining Dealer Records and contracts.
* Month-end reporting to Accounts dept. and Company European HQ.
* Authorised Dealer Agreements.
* Managing relationship with wider company.
Qualifications and Experience ideally required:
* Should ideally be qualified with a related BA Honours Degree or equivalent, although lesser qualifications and plenty of relevant experience will also be considered.
* Ideally you will possess the CIM qualification, although this is not essential.
* You will certainly have a strong Marketing background, ideally gleaned from within the Automotive and/or Aftermarket sector.
* You will offer good skills in MS Office, with at least intermediate knowledge in MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, amending Visual Basic, VLOOKUP etc).
* Strong communication skills are a must, as is a professional written and telephone manner.
* Occasional experience of customer facing is useful, together with experience of business forecasting.
* Knowledge of the Automotive sector, better still an interest/experience in Car Audio or Electrical related industries, would be a great advantage.
The remuneration on offer is, to an extent, negotiable and will be based upon relevant experience. Additionally you will be entitled to a bonus scheme, contributory pension scheme, private health care and life assurance policies.
