Are you an experienced Automotive Technician wishing to move into training or fully trained Technical Trainer looking for a new challenge? If the answer is YES, MSX International are recruiting and we want to hear from you.
MSX International are currently recruiting for an Automotive Technical Trainer to join our team at the Volkswagen National Learning Centre in Milton Keynes.
What will I be responsible for?
As our Automotive Technical Trainer, you will deliver a range of engaging and informative training programs which will include elements of course development and design. In your new role, you will be responsible for:
Delivery of core technical and project-based training programmes
To deliver engaging, learner-focused training solutions aligned to TAP methodology
All ROI evaluations are briefed and completed
Ensure Return on Investment is a key driver behind all delivery
Align all delivery to VWG and individual brand cultures and requirements
Utilise innovative digital technologies during the delivery of remote learning interventions
Undertake design work as and when required that is learner-focused, aligned to TAP methodology and brand/factory requirements, covering all training areas
Developing materials necessary for the delivery of new Model Launch courses
Perform all aspects of the role to the standards set out within yearly objectives and KPI/SLA agreements between Volkswagen Group UK & MSX Training Ltd
Undertake all aspects of administration in relation to training delivery, e.g. completing course rosters, pre-course and post-course briefings, assignment/test scoring and inputting
Attend factory or brand led events as a representative of the brand, MSX International and Learning Services, ranging from Train the Trainer events to Product Launches

As our ideal Automotive Technical Trainer, you must have the following skills and experience:
Practical current vocational skills and expertise in the areas you are required to train
Proven track record of consistently achieving performance targets
A team player yet capable and willing to work on own initiative
Ability to maintain a dynamic and engaging delivery style at all times
Ability to engage groups of delegates at every stage of the learning process
A credible individual who keeps up to date with new and revised learning and development theories, practices and methodologies including technological advancements
A genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry
Competent IT Skills – All Microsoft Office PackagesDesirable:
Industry recognized delivery accreditation
Experience of utilising technology in the delivery of training such as webinars, social media
Experience of working in a learning & development department
An understanding of assessment tools and their links to learning & development
Experience of developing others
An understanding of blended learning and its application
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of L&D
Brand knowledge
