On behalf of an award winning Motor Dealership Group, we are recruiting an Assistant Marketing Manager to join their marketing team based in Milton Keynes.

Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, this is a diverse role that includes a mix of online and offline marketing planning, execution and assessment, as well as overall co-ordination of all marketing projects.

Key Duties

* Assisting with the planning and implementation of all direct marketing campaigns

* Responsibility for managing workload and output of 1 x Direct Marketing Assistant and 1 x Digital Marketing Assistant and developing a close working relationship with Digital Performance Specialist Group Events Marketing Executive

* Overall responsibility for day-to-day output of the Marketing Team

* Working with manufacturer and other agency partners

* Liaise with marketing team colleagues to provide monthly report on of effectiveness of all campaigns

* Complete marketing activity as directed by the Group Marketing Manager and other reasonable requests by the Management team, including Sales, Aftersales and Fleet

Skills & Requirements

* Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role

* At least 3 years experience working in a marketing role within the automotive industry.

* Thorough understanding of retail, aftersales and fleet departments.

* Knowledge of SEO, paid search (Adwords), online display advertising plus targeted advertising across all key social media platforms (eg: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter) is ideal, as well as a general understanding of Google Analytics.

* Experience of website content management systems and email marketing platforms.

* Good knowledge of DMS systems and experience in using them – preferably Keyloop Drive, but V8/REV8 or similar experience also highly valued.

* Full competency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
