Job Title – Assistant Bodyshop Manager / VDA / Estimator

Salary – up to £45,000

I am currently working with a great company who are now looking to recruit and experienced Assistant Bodyshop Manager / VDA / Estimator to join their busy site in the Milton Keynes area.

Assistant Bodyshop Manager / VDA / Estimator job role:

You will be responsible for controlling the daily running of a busy Bodyshop. Leading a small workshop team, parts. This is a dual role which will be varied for example:
Provide all customers and insurers with accurate estimates based on their costings.
Control all KPIS for all work providers and insurance approvals to a high standard
Allocate all daily jobs fairly and correctly to body shop technicians based on their individual skills.
Control staff performance and quality of final repair.
Support and assist front reception on all aspects of operations.
Communicate with all customers and resolve any complaints that may arise and resolve satisfactorily.
Maintaining agreed key to key and cycle times.
Working with technicians to ensure a safe method of repair is achieved.
Control parts purchases and all consumables.
Create and analyse all monthly figures to discuss with the Managing Director.
Liaise with all staff and customers on the daily progress of all vehicles.
Sharing best practices with all staff, controlling the business to hit monthly targets.

Requirements for Assistant Bodyshop Manager / VDA / Estimator:

Must be fully qualified in Audatex and have previous hands-on experience of running a body shop.
Have excellent communication skills
