Assembly Technician – Milton Keynes (6 month FTC – Temp to perm)

This role is a 6 month contract with the possibility to go permanent.

SHIFTS – 07.00-15.00 & 15.00 – 23.00 – Must be flexible to be able to do BOTH

Focus Group Recruitment have the pleasure with working alongside global leading electric charging business. My client are the UK leaders within their sector. Over the course of 10 years, our customer has established itself as the market leader in electric vehicle charging, providing solutions for EV drivers to charge at home, at work and on the road. On our mission to make charging fast and hassle-free, our charging points have been used over 30 million times to enable around 200 million miles of zero tailpipe emission driving.

The Role:

As an Assembly Technician you will be responsible for carrying out all assembly work on the production line and any other reasonable duties within the Unit. We are seeking talented and enthusiastic Technicians to make this happen.

Responsibilities will include:

* Working closely with their Line Managers and their colleagues.

* Full Knowledge on how to Prep & Assembly all Units and within a 6 month time line

* Working with Electronics is advantageous

* Working to tight deadlines is also a quality that we look for.

* The candidates must be versatile and adapt to all situations and always in a methodical manner.

* Always adhere to the Health and Safety within the workplace.

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's Commercial experience as an Assembly Technician, ideally from an electrical or automotive background however not essential. This is a great opportunity for a technician to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team.

The Location:

Salary: £21,000 + great benefits including contributed pension scheme, 25 days Holiday + 8 days bank holidays
