Are you an Analysis Engineer looking for a new challenge? Our client is a world leading Engineering and Manufacturing Business; they are now looking for an Order Management Representative to join their team in Milton Keynes. Due to a recent battery pack project within the company, they are looking for someone with experience in the following Engineering Fundamentals such as Dynamics, Mechanics and Thermodynamics.
You will have experience in the following:
ANSYS Workbench tools in both structural and thermal analysis ( transient structural, Harmonic response and random Vibration
Explicit Dynamics for crash and drop analysis (LS Dyna, ANSYS, Explicit Dynamics)
Experienced in using multi-physics optimization tools.
Good reporting skills, and able to portray analysis results to a wide range of audience and effectively providing guidance to key stakeholders
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluating software and methods to provide improvements and recommendations to the product using ANSYS, FE- Safe, GT Suite, and AVL Excite.
Breakdown the analysis made and then negotiate on the Design, Thermal Sciences, Materials, and product validation and deliver performance power meters like motion, load natural frequencies, stress and power etc.:
Leading the development and improvement of work processes and systems across a functional discipline area within the site
Coordinating and directing the work amongst technicians and temporary student employees, assisting in the transfer of knowledge to lesser experienced engineers through either indirect (scope of influence) or direct management of a small, local group of engineers.
Applying the Principles of Fatigue and Durability – Determine the life of components and systems via numerical modelling and/or physical measurements; evaluates component temperatures, natural frequencies, mode shapes, displacements, strains/stresses, wear, and fatigue life to draw conclusions that influence design decisions with internal and external customers.
Systems Modelling and Simulation – Identifies representation of a system or system element by using suitable analytical tools and techniques in order to derive knowledge about the real system; defines the strategy for modelling, simulation, and analysis of a system or system element by considering specifics of a given situation or nature of the system of interest in order to derive insights for making quality decisions.
