Are you a reliable Contracts Manager – Commercial Construction with a landscaping background, based in the Milton Keynes area?

We are looking for dynamic people to maintain, organise and motivate various sites under your supervision, ensuring all services are delivered to a very high standard which meets customer expectations. The Contracts Manager – Commercial Construction will have a salary DOE and their qualifications. The manager will work to their own initiative identifying opportunities for improvement and driving business development in their area.

The successful candidate will work to their own initiative and organise resources to deliver an effective service delivery of management including but not limited to the following:

Day to day running of the business
Organise staff under your control
Training staff members
Organise Chargehands, Foremen and Subcontractors,
Allocating work schedules with due consideration for staff skills, training, qualifications, and experience
Order all materials required for the works
Maintain Health and Safety Standards on site
Follow quality procedures and highlight opportunities for improvement
Comply with environmental legislation/ regulations
Ensure economical and efficient use of company resources throughout all activities
The successful contracts manager will have:

Experience in a similar role for more than 5 years
Horticultural awareness
Experience in the Construction Role
SMSTS and CSCS would be an advantage
Full UK Driving licence
Self-motivation with the ability to use own initiative
Be able to demonstrate suitable experience in related discipline
Have suitable experience at a Site level of suitably large or complex projects
Excellent communication skills
Excellent commercial management skills and awareness
Good administration skills
Good IT Skills
Good Organisational Skills
