The role is full-time and a Fixed Term Contract until 31st March 2023 (possibility of extension/permanent).
Working 34.5 hours per week – finish at 1pm on a Friday!
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 08:30 to 16:45 with 45 minutes lunch break, Friday 08:30 to 13:00 (no lunch break).
This is a varied role with the opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to progress within the company.
You’ll need good physical strength for this role as in addition to admin / customer service / accounts duties you’ll also be assisting with loading and unloading of shipments and assisting in the warehouse.
Main duties:
• Loading and unloading of shipments and assisting in the warehouse
• Packaging and Preparing goods for despatch (involves some heavy lifting)
• Booking courier services
• Filing (Customer Service & Accounts)
• Updating various Excel spreadsheets (Customer Service and Accounts)
• Sending Customers order acknowledgements
• Assisting with stock control
• Assisting Manufacturing with preparation and packaging work
You’ll gain an understanding of how to comply with the Quality Management System and management processes.
In addition to understanding and complying with the Health and Safety requirements of the company.
To be considered:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
• Confident in mathematics (Grade C or above)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Timekeeping and organisational skills
• “Can do” attitude
